Veterans Future Wellness Center (VFWC) Legal Disclaimer

Veterans Future Wellness Center (“VFWC”) is a private, independent healthcare organization that provides primary care, wellness services, and care coordination to United States military veterans residing outside the territorial United States. VFWC’s services are designed to support the overall health and well-being of veterans living abroad by offering a coordinated, patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery and administrative assistance.

No Government Affiliation

VFWC is not a government entity and is not owned, operated, authorized, endorsed, or affiliated in any manner with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (“VA”), the Foreign Medical Program (“FMP”), or any other agency or instrumentality of the United States government. Any reference to the VA or FMP is solely for descriptive purposes.

Scope of Services

VFWC provides non-emergency medical care, preventive services, and wellness support, along with administrative assistance related to the submission of claims to the VA Foreign Medical Program. VFWC’s role in claim processing is strictly limited to facilitating documentation and submission on behalf of patients and does not constitute representation, agency, or legal authority to bind the VA in any respect.

No Guarantee of Benefits or Reimbursement

Eligibility for VA benefits, coverage determinations, claim approval, reimbursement amounts, and payment timelines are determined exclusively by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. VFWC makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • A veteran’s eligibility for FMP or any VA benefit program;
  • Approval of any submitted claim;
  • The extent or scope of reimbursable services;
  • The timing or receipt of payment from the VA.

Patients expressly acknowledge that they remain solely responsible for understanding their eligibility and benefits under VA programs.

Non-Disparagement of Other Providers

VFWC acknowledges and respects the broad network of qualified healthcare providers worldwide. Nothing in VFWC’s communications, services, or representations is intended to imply that healthcare services provided by other physicians, clinics, or facilities are inferior, unprofessional, or unsuitable.

Veterans retain full autonomy in selecting their healthcare providers, and VFWC does not discourage, restrict, or interfere with a patient’s right to seek care from any licensed provider of their choosing. VFWC’s services are offered as an additional, coordinated option tailored to the specific needs of U.S. veterans living abroad and should not be interpreted as a replacement for or criticism of other available care options.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VFWC, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

  • Denial, delay, or partial payment of any VA claim;
  • Changes in VA rules, regulations, or policies;
  • Errors, omissions, or delays in claim submission where such issues are outside VFWC’s reasonable control;
  • The patient’s failure to provide accurate, complete, or timely information;
  • Services rendered by third-party providers or facilities.

No Emergency Services

VFWC does not provide emergency medical services. In the case of a medical emergency, patients must immediately seek care from local emergency providers. VFWC shall have no liability for any outcomes resulting from delays in seeking or obtaining emergency care.

Jurisdiction and Compliance

All healthcare services are provided in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the country in which such services are rendered. Patients are responsible for complying with all local legal and regulatory requirements. Nothing in VFWC’s services shall be interpreted as the practice of medicine or provision of services beyond what is permitted under local law.

Indemnification

By utilizing VFWC services, patients agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VFWC and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • The patient’s misuse of services;
  • Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the patient;
  • Any dispute involving VA benefits, eligibility, or reimbursement.

Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By engaging with VFWC, the patient acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this Disclaimer, and that they understand the independent nature of VFWC’s services and the limitations outlined herein.
